    Advanced and Foundation programs for 2009 *
    In 2009, Big Picture Education is offering a selection of Five Day
    /Foundation Programs/ and
    Two Day Advanced Programs for educators to experience the highly
    personalised approach to
    education that combines academic work with real-world learning. 
    Participants will explore the
    model of educating “one student at a time” which places the student,
    their passions and their
    interests at the centre of the learning process.
    *
    Big Picture Advanced Programs *
    The Advanced Program is aimed at educators who have preferably
    completed the Big Picture
    Foundation course but is open to those who have an established track
    record in Big Picture
    practices and see themselves as future candidates for training and
    coaching.  The Program will
    cover /Current Thinking and Developments in Big Picture in the USA
    and Australia/; and explore
    critical areas that set Big Picture apart – The Theory of
    Organisational Development, Group
    Dynamics/Network Theory, Working With Schools for Change and
    Pedagogical Research.
    *Western Australia:*  Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th January, 2009
    *Queensland:*  Thursday 16th and Friday 17th April 2009
    *South Australia:*  Thursday 23rd April and Friday 24th April 2009
    *Tasmania:*  Thursday 11th June and Friday 12th June 2009

    *Big Picture Foundation Programs *
    The 5 Day Foundation Program is aimed at those interested in
    learning more about Big Picture
    in general, and Big Picture principles and practice in schools and
    communities.  The program
    will include such topics as /Personalised Learning, Adult World
    Emersion, Designing Learning to
    Ensure Academic Rigour, Building Relationships & Leading a
    Personalised School/. 
    *Western Australia:* Wednesday 14th January to Friday 16th January,
    2009 
    (2 additional days to follow later in the semester at a date yet to
    be determined)
    *South Australia:* Monday 19th January to Friday 23rd January, 2009
    *Tasmania:*  Sunday 1st February to Wednesday 4th February, 2009
    (5th day TBA)
    Victoria: Monday 6th July to Friday 10th July 2009
    Act: Monday 13th July to Friday 17th July 2009
    new South Wales: Monday 20th July to Friday 24th July 2009
