    The Australian National Schools Network is continuing it's series of
    successful IWB hubs in Victoria in 2009.

    The ANSN have been running informative Interactive Whiteboard
    Professional Development for the last three years in Australia with
    over 350 teachers taking part.


          Program outline

    *Term two - Days 1 & 2 - 23rd April & 7th May*

        * Establishing a collaborative professional learning community
        * Getting to know the learning community and its needs
        * Getting familiar with your Interactive Whiteboard (IWB)- basic
          skills training
        * Exploring the pedagogy and reasons why we would use IWB's in
          our classrooms
        * Documentation of hopes/ fears/expectations
        * Planning action to be taken back at school

    *Term Two - Day 3 - 11th June*

        * Where are we now? Sharing experiences and working
          collaboratively to reflect using structured protocols
        * Continued documentation : Where to now?
        * Engage in current IWB readings to consider new ideas to inform
          our teaching practice
        * Advanced training catering to the needs of the group
        * Planning for Day 5 exhibitions -- focusing on purpose,
          evidence, practice

    *Term Three - Day 4 - 17th September*

        * Sharing school stories
        * Incorporating other technologies in to the effective use of
          IWB's in classrooms
        * Developing IWB tasks that take advantage of the possibilities
          of the technology
        * Exhibition planning

    *Term Four - Day 5 - 5th November*

        * Assessment of group skills using the ACTIVexpression technology
        * Documenting learning through a Q&A round robin process

    $750 ex GST per Teacher or $2000 ex GST for a team of 3 teachers
